Thanks to Door Peninsula Winery for sponsoring the live music stage. Thanks to the big crowd for giving us energy. Thanks to friends who traveled from Madison and Chicago and elsewhere to be there. The CDs have arrived!
Late Friday we received the first printing of our new self-titled album, and sales were brisk on Friday night at the Lucky Rabbit in downtown Waukesha. You will be able to pick up your copy this evening (July 11) at the Door Peninsula Winery Stage at Bastille Days. We hope to have our five original songs and one cover song on iTunes and CD Baby by sometime next week. We are very proud of our work on our first album. Thanks to Third Ward Records for the studio time, thanks to Jeff Zmania for the incredible photography, and thanks to all our fans for making this possible.
Hoppin’ time at Lucky Rabbit
Thanks to everyone who came out to see us play Friday night at the Lucky Rabbit. We had a big crowd, and it was a great way to put the finishing touch on a great night of music in downtown Waukesha. Thanks to the Lucky Rabbit for inviting us to play. Next up: Bastille Days today, July 11, in downtown Milwaukee, 5:45 p.m.
Thanks, Poto; hello, Lucky Rabbit and Bastille Days
We would like to thank Todd Fink and the rest of the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino crew for inviting us to play at the Fire Pit Side Bar last weekend. We had great sound and a great mix, and we really enjoyed playing to the holiday crowd. Next up: 9 to 11:30 p.m. this Friday, July 10, at the Lucky Rabbit, 200 Madison St., Waukesha; and 5:30 to 8:45 p.m. this Saturday, July 11, at the Door Peninsula Distillery Stage at the east end of Kilbourn Ave. in Downtown Milwaukee for Bastille Days. We are hoping that we will have our new CD ready for your listening pleasure for the Milwaukee outdoor festival, and we will be performing our five original songs from that album both nights. Hope to see you there.
New photos from Jeff Zmania
Go to www.jmzphoto.com and check out some great shots of our performance at the Gasthaus Wednesday Night Classics car show in Waukesha. You can find them there under the EVENT button. The photos were taken by Jeff Zmania, who’s been capturing our performances over the last year and publishing them on his website. He’s also designing the cover and inside layouts of our new CD, which should be out in the next few weeks. We are so thankful for Jeff’s great work.
Thanks, Gasthaus and car show

Thanks to the Gasthaus German Restaurant for having us back, and thanks to everyone who weekly organizes one of the biggest and best custom car shows in the area. You truly put on a professional and enjoyable show. Next up for Rebecca and the Grey Notes: 10 p.m. July 4 at Potawatomi Casino & Hotel’s Fire Pit Side Bar, 1721 W. Canal St., Milwaukee.

Music and a car show
Classic cars and classic music — what a great combination.
Last year we were fortunate to be invited to play at Weissgerber’s Gasthaus during its weekly Wednesday Night Classics car show, and we are fortunate to be invited back to play again. Last year we admired this 1956 Chevrolet, along with scores of other great cars, at the car show. So stop by the Gasthaus, 2720 N. Grandview Blvd., Waukesha, on Wednesday, June 24, beginning at 5 p.m. for a great evening of classic cars and classy music. This event is free.
Thank you, Tally’s
Thanks to Jessica and Tally’s and our loyal fans for a great night of music on May 29. We were encouraged by the positive response to all five of our original songs. We hope to have our EP featuring those five songs ready for distribution by early July, if not sooner. Stay tuned for updates. Meanwhile, our next show is Wednesday, June 24, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gasthaus Car Show in Waukesha.
Join us at Tally’s
After a short holiday week, please join us this Friday, May 29, at Tally’s Tap & Eatery,
S31-W24661 Sunset Drive, Waukesha. We’ve shuffled our playlist and have added our five new originals. First chord will be struck promptly at 8:30 p.m. Hope to see you there.
