Rebecca and the Grey Notes will be performing from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 22, at the Leinie Lodge Stage at the Waukesha County Fair. We will be playing our new originals that will be included in our forthcoming second EP, along with songs from our first self-titled EP, which was released last year. We’ll also be throwing in some covers of songs by Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, Corinne Bailey Rae, Aretha Franklin, B.B. King, Led Zeppelin, the Byrds and others. Hope to see you there!

Busy Week!
We are excited to be headlining at the North Coast Songwriters Showcase this Thursday, July 14th at the Saloon on Calhoun. Stop down at 7 to see local artists Micah Olson, Peter Mac, and Jeff Radi.
We’ll then be back at Bastille Days! 4:30 -6:30, we’re on a new stage this year and just can’t wait! We’ll be hightailing it out of there to play a private party…didn’t know we did those? We do! Contact us to set one up.
A day in the life
Check out a photo album of a day in the life of Rebecca and the Grey Notes as they do two shows in one day. The gallery appears on Facebook.
Excellent Crowd!
Thanks to everyone who came out Friday! It was great to be back at Tally’s and we enjoyed playing her brand new room. We’ll be back there in a few months, but in the meantime check us out at Spring City Wine House in downtown Waukesha on June 25!
Tally’s on tap

Fresh from work in the studio, Rebecca and the Grey Notes will be returning to its home base on Friday, June 10, when it performs at Tally’s Tap & Eatery, S31-W24661 Sunset Drive, on Waukesha’s south side. The first chord will be struck at 8:30 p.m. We’ve switched our set lists around and will feature a few of our new originals early in the evening. We’ll also be performing originals from our first EP and some new covers. This is a free show. It also will be a great chance to see for the first time the remodeling of Tally’s, which now has a much larger room for music. Hope to see you this Friday.
Recording time
We had a fantastic time recording three new original songs at Cave Studios MKE in Pewaukee on May 22. We hope to add two more originals soon and are working to release our second EP sometime this summer. You can see a gallery of photos from our session at www.facebook.com/mjuley. Later, you will be able to see much better photos of our session that were taken by Jeff Zmania. You can follow his work at www.jmzphoto.com.
Frank’s Power Plant
In just a couple days, we’ll be at Frank’s Power Plant with Jack Tell, Mississippi Sawyer and Community Center. We’ll See you at 9 when the doors open…first act is at 10. For more info, visit our facebook page or click above on Shows.
Jeff Zmania photos
Jeff Zmania has done a superb job of taking photos of Rebecca and the Grey Notes over the past three years. Earlier this month he took photos of our performance at the Spring City Wine House in downtown Waukesha. Here are his photos
, which are part of his professional webpage, www.jmzphoto.com. Check out his page if you’re looking for a photographer for your event.
Excellent Week!
We had such a fantastic week with tons of support at the Saloon on Calhoun and Spring City Wine House. We will be back at both of these places soon. In the mean time, check out the next North Coast Songwriter’s Showcase and live music! We will see you this weekend, at The Fire Pit Side Bar at Potawatomi! Saturday, April 23rd, 10pm!
First CD review
Thirteen months ago we went into the studio to record our first CD, an EP with five originals and one cover. The CD dropped last July, and the recording started making the rounds. This week we received our first review of the album. Chris Peppas, a great musician in his own right who is known to his friends as CP, wrote a review for examiner.com that captured the essence of that recording. We are so grateful that our originals, and Rebecca’s voice, are now getting some attention in print. Thanks to everyone involved in our CD for making this happen.
