Thanks to the work of Enrique Rodriguez, we have some video of our performance in July at Bastille Days. To watch the video, go here.
Thanks, Major Goolsby’s
Thanks to Major Goolsby’s and the Wisconsin State Fair for allowing us to perform at the Heartland Stage twice during the first weekend of the fair. The managers and wait staff were extremely accommodating, and Dominic Famularo did a superb job mixing the sound. Thanks also to all of our fans for supporting live music. Next Up: State Fair

The weather forecast appears to be perfect this weekend for outdoor concerts, and we’re happy to cooperate with performances Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 3 and Aug. 4, at the Major Goolsby’s Heartland Stage at the Wisconsin State Fair. Our show on Aug. 3 will begin at noon and end at 3:30 p.m.; our Aug. 4 gig will begin at noon and end at 3 p.m. The Major Goolsby’s Heartland Stage offers plenty of seating in sun or shade, a large selection of great food and a variety of music that will suit anyone’s taste.
Next Up: Parkside 23
We have a late-breaking gig Tuesday, July 30, at Parkside 23 in Brookfield. First chord will be struck at 6 p.m., and we’ll be there until 9. We’ll be performing inside the plush confines of this upscale venue, but it also should be a great night for relaxing on the outdoor patio between sets. It will be a busy week for us, with shows this Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 3 and 4 beginning at noon each day, at the Major Goolsby’s Heartland Stage at the Wisconsin State Fair.
Next Up: Tally’s
If you order one of the bountiful fish fries featured this Friday night, July 19, at Tally’s Tap & Eatery on Summit Ave. on Waukesha’s south side, we’ll order up a tasty selection of original music along with compositions from Bonnie Raitt, Ann Peebles, Linda Ronstadt, Feist, B.B. King, Led Zeppelin, the Allman Brothers and more. First chord will be struck at 8:30 p.m., and the last chord will be hit at 12:30 a.m. Be there or be square.
Storming Bastille Days
Fresh off a successful performance at Summerfest, we will be storming the Madison Medical Affiliates Beaux Arts Stage from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 12, to perform original Americana music from its first two albums along with songs from artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Ann Peebles, Norah Jones, Etta James, Led Zeppelin, the Byrds and more. Feast on the fabulous food at Bastille Days while listening to Rebecca’s soaring vocals and her father’s shredding guitar work. We are very
grateful for being invited back to Bastille Days for the fifth time. The venue is perfect for our music, and the crowd is among the largest we draw.
Success at Summerfest
Our first year performing at Summerfest, it rained. Last year when we performed, it was 95 degrees. On July 3, we had a foggy start, but it soon cleared up and we were able to rock out at the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage in opening a full day of music by bands led by women. And Rebecca got to meet country star Lindsay Ell. Thanks to all of our fans who took advantage of “Senior Fest” day and free admission. Next up: Bastille Days, 4:30-6:30 p.m. July 12.

Next Up: Summerfest
For the third consecutive year, we will be performing at the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage at Summerfest, the world’s largest music festival. It’s going to be a special day for us because we’ll be opening a full day of music produced by bands led by women. Rebecca will be singing her heart out beginning at noon, followed by Milwaukee’s own WhiskeyBelles at 2 p.m., Queeva at 4, Milwaukee’s own Nora Collins at 6, and headliners Lindsay Ell at 8 and Lauren Alaina at 10. Just for good measure, we’ll throw in fireworks at 9:30 p.m. It’s shaping up to be a great day to showcase what female vocalists can accomplish. Below is a photo of our first Summerfest performance in 2017.
Thanks, Parkside 23
We squeezed a new gig into our schedule on June 18 at Parkside 23, a high-end restaurant and bar in Brookfield. We crammed our amps and drums into a tight space and then played for three hours to an appreciative crowd. Thanks, Parkside 23, for the invite! Next up: noon July 3 at the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage at Summerfest, the world’s biggest music festival.
Next Up: Polish Fest
Thanks to Paulie’s Pub & Eatery for inviting us to play on a cold, rainy June 1. The show opened our summer tour, which continues Saturday, June 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Polish Fest, on the Summerfest grounds. We will be debuting a few new tunes along with original music from our first two albums and covers of such artists as Ann Peebles, Linda Ronstadt, Norah Jones, Tom Petty, Bonnie Raitt, Alison Krauss, Etta James, B.B. King, Led Zeppelin, the Byrds, Fleetwood Mac and more. Hope to see you there.
