Next up: the barree

Please join us June 23 as we escape from the pandemic bubble and venture outside for a gig at the barree, a beautiful backyard setting adjacent to the cheel restaurant in downtown Thiensville. While the cheel was destroyed in a fire, the barree is open and is serving food and beverages. We’ll strike our first chord at 6 p.m. and last chord at 9 p.m. Hope to see you there.

Next up: Studio Winery

We’re excited to be returning to Studio Winery and Distillery this Saturday, April 10, for another free show. First chord will be struck at 5 p.m., and we’ll wrap things up at 9. We played at Studio Winery in March and had a fantastic crowd, so we’re eager to play our live music! Hope to see you there.

On the radio

Five songs off our second album, “Volume 2,” will be featured, one each day, March 22-26 on WGTD-FM. The music will be part of the station’s “Noon Tunes” program as the final segment of the WGTD Midday News and will air around 12:20 p.m. daily. The songs to be played, in no particular order, include: “Come See the World,” “Lovin’ You Every Single Minute (of the Day)”, “Picture of You,” “It Doesn’t Matter” and “Softly Fade Away.” You can tune in over the air to listen to WGTD–if you live in the Kenosha or Racine area, the station is at 91.1 on the FM dial; if you are near Lake Geneva, it’s at 103.3 FM; and if you are in the Elkhorn area, you can find the station at 101.7 FM. You also may listen live online at: www.wgtd.org. Coincidentally, we will be performing in Lake Geneva this Saturday, from 5-9 p.m., at Studio Winery + Geneva Lake Distilling and will be offering a preview of these songs. It’s always pretty cool to hear your songs on the radio. Over the last few years our original music has been featured on four other radio stations. Thanks to WGTD for playing our songs!

Welcome, 2021!

We are so glad to put 2020 in our rearview mirror and focus our attention to getting back to performing live music. Rebecca and Tyler have been playing duo gigs from 8 to 11 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at Kelly’s Bleachers in Wind Lake. They will be playing there again April 7.

The full band will be getting back together again for a full night of music March 20 and April 10 at Studio Winery in Lake Geneva.

We also have scheduled a date in June for a return to The Barree in Thiensville, where we played last summer.

Some of the outdoor festivals where we have previously played have been canceled again this year do to the COVID-19 virus, but we still have two performance dates set for the Wisconsin State Fair in early August and we’re hoping to release a date soon for a performance at Summerfest, which has been moved to three weekends in September.

We hope that all of our fans are staying healthy and safe as we continue to navigate through the pandemic.

2020 ends on a high note

Due to the coronovirus pandemic, we didn’t get to perform as much as we wanted in 2020, given that gigs at Summerfest, Polish Fest, State Fair and other live-venue gigs were postponed. And we haven’t been able to rehearse since March. But we were able to squeeze in some shows, such as performances at The Baaree in Thiensville and at Studio Winery in Lake Geneva, that could result in similar gigs for 2021. Thanks again to everyone who has followed us! We are looking forward to a better 2021.

Next up: Studio Winery

The band will be returning to the Studio Winery in Lake Geneva from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, to perform original music from its two albums along with songs from such artists as Norah Jones, Ann Peebles, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Warren Zevon, Etta James, Tom Petty, Aretha Franklin, the Byrds, B.B. King, Led Zeppelin and more. Savor the wine and spirits of Studio Winery’s vast collection while listening to Rebecca’s soaring vocals and Tyler’s searing guitar licks.

Next up: The Cheel

We’ll be playing our first gig at The Cheel, 105 S. Main St., Thiensville, on Oct. 3, and if weather permits we’ll be performing outdoors. So if you’ve been craving live music but have been wary of indoor gigs, join us for some outdoor fun. The Cheel features a unique menu of tasty dishes along with fine beverages served in an upscale atmosphere. Hope to see you there.
