Happy New Year!

We would like to wish all of our fans a Happy New Year as we celebrate our accomplishments in 2018 and look forward to an even better 2018. We wouldn’t have had such a great year without your support. The band is going to cut back a bit on our performances over the next three months as we learn new songs. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t want to hear from you. Check out and like our Facebook page to read our posts throughout last year, follow us on Twitter as we boost our presence there this year, and keep track of our schedule here on our homepage. Check out a video of “Picture of You” and of “Loving You Every Single Minute (of the Day)” that we recorded at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Tap Milwaukee studio. Also, check out our performance on the WUWM (89.7 FM) program “Lake Effect” (around the 47-minute mark). Listen to a video taken by Enrique Rodriguez of the original songs that we performed during a rainy day at Summerfest 2017. Check out the incredible photos of our performances taken by Jeff Zmania. And watch and listen to four videos, also taken by Enrique, of four original songs–“Twisting in the Wind,” “Loving You Every Single Minute of the Day,” “Softly Fade Away” and “Come See the World.” IMG_1726

3 more gigs are set

We have three more dates to wrap up our most successful year of our four-year existence with performances from 7-10 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 18, at Roma’s Ristorante and Lounge, East Troy, WI; 8:30-12:30 Friday, Dec. 15, at Tallys Tap & Eatery in Waukesha; and 7-11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Arriba Mexican Restaurant & Lounge at 124th and Hampton on the border of Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. We’re in our fourth year of playing at Tally’s, on Sunset Drive on Waukesha’s south side, where they have a bountiful Friday night fish fry. We’ve played a couple of times at Arriba, which is a convenient venue for our fans in Tosa, Milwaukee, Brookfield and the North Shore, and that gig also is an early start. Thanks to all our fans for giving us this incredible year. See you soon.Grey Notes Alehouse 2.jpg

Thanks, St. Charles fest

Neglected to post photos from our gig in September at St. Charles Borromeo Parish and School Fall Festival in Burlington. As is the case at all of our gigs, Rebecca made many new fans, this time including some just entering grade school. The band even won a few extra dollars by entering the festival’s cash raffle. The festival organizers treated us like royalty and the crowd was wonderful. Thanks again to all who organized the parish event. Our next show is Saturday night, Nov. 18, at Roma’s Ristorante & Lounge in East Troy.IMG_2459.jpgIMG_2454.jpgIMG_2458.jpgIMG_2455.jpg

Big crowd at Tally’s

Rebecca and the Grey Notes had its largest crowd ever at Tallys Tap & Eatery on Oct. 6. Thanks to everyone for your support of the band and live music, and thanks to Jessica at Tally’s, which is one of the handful of live music venues in the Waukesha area. The Friday fish fry was fantastic. We’re working on trying to squeeze in a few more performances before the end of the year, and we’ve secured a gig on Nov. 18 at Roma’s Ristorante and Lounge, East Troy, WI. More details to come.IMG_2473

Next Up: Tally’s

We are returning this Friday, Oct. 6, to the place where it all began in April 2013: Tally’s Tap & Eatery, S31-W24661 W. Sunset Drive, on Waukesha’s south side. The first chord will be struck at 8:30 p.m. Tally’s has a tasty and bountiful Friday night fish fry along with drink specials to go along with its remodeled dining area. We’re looking forward to seeing you there as we begin to wrap up a very successful year.IMG_1439.jpg
