Jeff Zmania has done a superb job of taking photos of Rebecca and the Grey Notes over the past three years. We had such a fantastic week with tons of support at the Saloon on Calhoun and Spring City Wine House. We will be back at both of these places soon. Thirteen months ago we went into the studio to record our first CD, an EP with five originals and one cover. The CD dropped last July, and the recording started making the rounds. This week we received our first review of the album. Chris Peppas, a great musician in his own right who is known to his friends as CP, wrote a review for examiner.com that captured the essence of that recording. We are so grateful that our originals, and Rebecca’s voice, are now getting some attention in print. Thanks to everyone involved in our CD for making this happen.

A big thanks to everyone who came out although it was really cold last weekend! Thanks to Tom for having us, we’ll be back April 16th.

We’ve been booked at Spring City Wine House this Friday, February 12th! This is a really neat little place with a substantial selection of wines. Click on their name above to find out more about them! We’ll be there at 7pm, come celebrate Valentine’s Day with us!

We had a great time sharing a bill with Laura Petersen and the Shirley Green Band at Club Garibaldi earlier this month. We hope to do this again.

We were definitely excited for Friday’s show and it turned out pretty wonderful. In addition to thanking the organizers of the event, Shirley Green, and other act, Laura Petersen, we are thankful for you guys! Thanks for coming out. We hope you had as much fun as we did, listening to more artists and supporting local music.

We can’t wait to perform on January 15th at Club Garibaldi with two other Milwaukee bands. Laura Petersen is an acoustic folk/rock act and Shirley Green is “experimental, atmospheric modern rock with emotionally-unstable undertones”. No matter what you’re looking for, we’re sure you’ll be satisfied.
