Thanks to everyone who was part of the huge crowd we had for a weeknight gig at the baaree in Thiensville. It was a beautiful night, perfect for the vibe of our music. We’ll wrap up our 2024 campaign with a stop Oct. 19 at the Studio Winery + Geneva Lake Distilling, now called Geneva Lake Distilling + Winery. We’re so thankful for the support we’ve received for the last 11 years, especially over the last few months, from our growing number of fans. We’ve been blessed to have performed this year at America’s largest outdoor music festival (Summerfest), Milwaukee’s largest street festival (Bastille Days), the best outdoor live-music venue north of Milwaukee (the baaree), one of Milwaukee’s best neighborhood live-music venues (Enderis Park Neighborhood Association), the best outdoor music venue in the village where I call home (Greendale Gazebo), Lake Geneva’s largest street festival (Venetian Festival) and the Wisconsin event that draws the highest attendance (Wisconsin State Fair), along with various smaller venues that feature live music. Our first appearance at Venetian Fest, Lake Geneva’s largest street festival, couldn’t have been any better. Thanks to Will and Nate and all of the volunteer crew at the festival who made us feel welcome and appreciated. Festival management wants us back next year, so that’s pretty cool. Our next public performance is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the baaree in beautiful downtown Thiensville. As with all of our performances this year, admission is free. Hope to see you there.
We’d like to thank everyone who attended our two Wisconsin State Fair shows last weekend. We had perfect weather and big crowds. Thanks also to Major Goolsby’s Heartland Stage for treating us so well. Next up is our first visit to Lake Geneva’s largest street party: Venetian Fest. We’ll be rocking from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 and also auctioning off a special guitar, with proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association. Hope to see you there.
If it’s August and it’s hot, it must be time for our little band to perform at the Wisconsin State Fair. Once again, the Major Goolsby’s Heartland Stage will be our home for two days, Aug. 10-11, from noon to 3:15 p.m. Major Goolsby’s is the perfect side stage for the fair, providing ample seating in shaded areas along with great food and beverages. Three shows in three consecutive days! We’re going to rest up a bit before hitting it again Aug. 10-11 at the Wisconsin State Fair. Thanks to everyone who attended our shows this summer. Our crowds have been getting bigger, so we really appreciate the support.
We had an incredible time at the USCellular Connection Stage at Summerfest on July 5. Big crowd, lots of fun, dodged a few raindrops. Next stop on our 2024 World Tour is Sunday, July 7, at the baaree in downtown Thiensville, where we’ll be playing three sets from 4-7 p.m. Hope to see you there.
We had a fantastic time May 25 at Studio Winery + Geneva Lake Distilling in front of a big crowd. Thanks to Doug and Kathy for inviting us back. Our next public show will be at 2:30 p.m. July 5 at the USCellular Connection Stage at Summerfest. That day, all Summerfest patrons ages 60 and older will be admitted for FREE when they present their ID at the designated turnstile at any gate. Admitted seniors will also receive a voucher for $2 off a food or non-alcoholic beverage purchase over $10. In other words, if you are a senior citizen, our Summerfest performance will be FREE. Meanwhile, our performance July 4 at Humboldt Park has been canceled. After our Summerfest gig, we will be at the baaree in downtown Thiensville from 4-7 p.m. July 7, Enderis Park in Milwaukee from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. July 11, at Bastille Days from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. July 12, at the Greendale Gazebo from 7-8:30 p.m. July 13, at the Wisconsin State Fair from noon-3 p.m. Aug. 10-11, and at Venetian Fest in Lake Geneva from 3-4 p.m. Aug. 17. We had a huge crowd all night Feb. 24 for our gig at the Studio Winery + Geneva Lake Distilling. Thanks to Doug for inviting us back to perform from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, May 25. Until then, we’ll be working on some new material and hope to announce a few more dates for summer performances, so stay tuned.
Our 11th year together as a band begins Saturday, Feb. 24, when we take the stage at 5 p.m. at the Studio Winery + Geneva Lake Distilling in Lake Geneva. We’re looking forward to another fun year together with performances, in addition to two more later this year at Studio Winery, already scheduled at the Wisconsin State Fair and the baaree in Thiensville. We’re hoping to add performances at Summerfest and Bastille Days, so stay tuned. We’re so grateful to have a fan base that supports our music.
