We’re putting together the final pieces of our summer 2017 schedule and will release it soon. We also are excited to be adding the largest festival that we’ve ever done, and we’ll announce that festival name and date later this month.

Album release date
Our second album is being printed and packaged and, if everything goes as planned, will be available for purchase beginning June 1. We’re proud to feature seven new original songs written by Tyler and arranged by the Grey Notes. These seven, combined with the five original songs from our first self-titled album, provide the variety of songs that you would expect from a group that features a top-tier female singer, a guitar god and a tight rhythm section. Watch our Facebook page for possible snippets from the album.
Thanks, Potawatomi!
We are always grateful to be invited to play at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino’s Fire Pit Sports Bar & Grill in Milwaukee. And Friday, April 28, was no exception. We got to play on a super stage, with professional lighting and a great sound system monitored and shaped by a great sound tech, Jason Rieve (who photobombed us). The Poto gang really knows how to treat a band. The photo of the band playing onstage was taken by Matt Phillips.
Thanks, Arriba
A big thanks to Betty and Arriba Mexican Restaurant & Lounge for allowing us to play April 22. Also, thanks to all of our fans for once again filling all of the tables. We hope to return soon.
Next up: Arriba
We had a great time and a big crowd April 15 at our first performance at Studio Winery in Lake Geneva. Thanks to everyone for supporting live music. Next up: Saturday, April 22, at Arriba Mexican Restaurant and Lounge, at N. 124th St. and W. Hampton Ave., Butler. That’s just across the street from Wauwatosa. First chord will be struck at 7 p.m., another early start. Hope to see you there.
Next up, 3 weekends
We will begin three consecutive weekends of music on Saturday, April 15, when we visit the Studio Winery, 401 Sheridan Springs Road, in Lake Geneva for the first time. This will be a really early show, beginning at 4 p.m. and lasting until 8 p.m., so those of you who aren’t night owls can enjoy three full sets of our originals and covers. The following weekend, we will return to Arriba Mexican Restaurant & Lounge, 4753 N. 124th St., Butler, on Saturday, April 22. And we’ll wrap up our month of music with a show Friday, April 28, beginning at 8:30 p.m. at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino’s Fire Pit Side Bar, 1721 W. Canal St., Milwaukee. Hope you can join us.
Big crowd at Pam’s
Biggest crowd yet last Saturday for Rebecca and the Grey Notes at Pam’s Fine Wines in Mukwonago. Thanks to Pam and Mike for inviting us to play, and thanks to all who attended and were so generous in filling our tip jar. We have three gigs coming up in three different areas of southeastern Wisconsin: from 4-8 p.m. April 15 at Studio Winery in Lake Geneva, 7-11 p.m. April 22 at Arriba Mexican Restaurant & Lounge in Butler (just across the street from Wauwatosa) and 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. April 28 at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino‘s Fire Pit Side Bar. Hope to see you soon.
Next up, Pam’s Fine Wines
We are excited to be invited back to Pam’s Fine Wines, 100 Main St., Mukwonago, for a show from 7 to 10 p.m. March 25. We will be performing songs from our forthcoming CD along with some new music from Ann Peebles and Bonnie Raitt. Please join us in this intimate setting for a an early evening of great music.
Polishing the CD
As we set time aside in March to wrap up our second album of original music, we want to thank everyone who came out on a bad weather day Feb. 24 to hear us perform at Pam’s Fine Wines in Mukwonago. We hope to get back there sometime this month and perform a request that we couldn’t do that Friday. It’s a Bonnie Raitt song, and we should have that tune in shape for our next appearance at Pam’s.
Meanwhile, we are working with Tony in Austin, Texas, to pull together the final mixes for our seven-song CD, which we hope to release in April. And we’re working with photographer/ designer Jeff Zmania on the art for the album.
We’re also using March to nail down our summer performance schedule, which will include, among others, return stops at Bastille Days and the Wisconsin State Fair.
We’re also pleased to announce that in April we will be returning to the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino’s Fire Pit Sports Bar and to Arriba’s Mexican Restaurant and Lounge on the border of Wauwatosa and Butler, and we’ll be making our first appearance in Lake Geneva. Stay tuned for more details on those performances.
Thanks to everyone for supporting us and our music.
