Thanks, Jeff!

On Thanksgiving weekend , we played our last show with our great drummer, Jeff Franks. We formed as a band in mid-2011 and played our first gig in April 2013 as a trio. But when the festivals started calling, we knew we had to find a drummer. Tyler found Jeff at the old Cali’s jam session in Brookfield, and we quickly learned that Jeff was a good fit for us. Our first gig with Jeff was at Bastille Days in 2014. Since then, we’ve played with him at countless venues, large and small, and he’s been awesome at all of them. Jeff has moved with his wife to Hendersonville, Tenn. Meanwhile, we’ll be playing our shows as a trio until we can find an appropriate drummer who can measure up to Jeff’s talent.

Thanks, Summerfest!

Thanks to usCellular Connection Stage and Summerfest for allowing us to perform Friday, Sept. 17. We were able to squeeze most of our original music while playing a more rock-oriented set list. We’re putting a hold on more gigs until the end of the year while we figure out what we should do next and also set aside some time to learn some new material. Thanks to all of our friends who have supported us throughout 2021 and who came to Summerfest on a very hot afternoon to cheer us on. You are the best. Don’t worry. We do expect to be playing next year in Lake Geneva, Brookfield, Milwaukee and other area venues, so stay tuned for updates.

Next up: the big gig

We are very fortunate and extremely grateful to be invited back to play Summerfest for the fourth time. We will be returning to our home base, the UScellular Connection Stage, for a performance at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17. We will be one of three bands performing that day that are led by women. Haley Grace and the Rebels will open the day, and Brookfield native Nora Collins will start her set at 6 p.m. Other bands include Madison County at 4 p.m., Ray Fulcher at 8 and Jake Owen at 10. This is a very strong country/ Americana/rock lineup, so we hope to see you there.

Next Up: State Fair

We’ll be rockin’ the Major Goolsby’s Heartland Stage this Sunday, Aug. 8, beginning at noon, at the Wisconsin State Fair. Yes, it will be steamy, but the Major provides many shaded tables and ice-cold beverages. We’ll also be at the same place, same time, on Saturday, Aug. 14. Hope to see you there!

Next Up: Studio Winery

Thanks to Jesse and the whole crew at the baaree for hosting our live event Wednesday, June 23. Despite the partial conflict with the important Milwaukee Bucks game, we had a large crowd that included some familiar faces and well as new fans who loved our original music. We were fortunate to be included in a very strong week’s worth of live music at the outdoor venue. Our next scheduled performance will be from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at the Studio Winery + Geneva Lake Distilling, 401 E Sheridan Springs Road, Lake Geneva. Hope to see you there!

Next up: the barree

Please join us June 23 as we escape from the pandemic bubble and venture outside for a gig at the barree, a beautiful backyard setting adjacent to the cheel restaurant in downtown Thiensville. While the cheel was destroyed in a fire, the barree is open and is serving food and beverages. We’ll strike our first chord at 6 p.m. and last chord at 9 p.m. Hope to see you there.

Next up: Studio Winery

We’re excited to be returning to Studio Winery and Distillery this Saturday, April 10, for another free show. First chord will be struck at 5 p.m., and we’ll wrap things up at 9. We played at Studio Winery in March and had a fantastic crowd, so we’re eager to play our live music! Hope to see you there.
